I have twenty years experience practicing law. I spent several years of my career with one of Portland's largest firms and was a partner in a boutique firm having the highest rating available by Martindale Hubbell's lawyer rating system. I have made a choice to practice in a solo environment to better control the cost of the legal services I provide to clients. I have helped clients navigate transactions worth tens of thousands and tens of millions of dollars. My estate planning experience has helped families of all kinds achieve comfort and a higher degree of certainty in their affairs.
I never cease to be amazed by the energy, initiative and discipline of independent business owners. I have been fortunate enough to work with some of Oregon's most exciting and successful independent companies. Sock Dreams, Daddies Boardshop, Jackpot Records, Upright Brewing and New Deal Vodka are some of the great brands I've had the opportunity to help grow.
I am a graduate of Willamette Law School, the University of Delaware and studied accounting and business at Portland State University. I am proud to have served as the Board President for Mt. Hood Habitat for Humanity (now part of Portland/Metro East Habitat), as Vice President of Venture Portland and as a Board Member with the Dove Lewis Animal Hospital. I am currently a Board Member of the Multnomah Bar Association and President of the Division Clinton Business Association.
